i got a:
amd 64 3200+ 1mb L2 cache
512 mb 333mhz ddr pc 2700
all in wonder 9200 256mb
160gb segate barracuda
FIC pt-2200 8x AGP motherboard

would a x800 pro be comatible and if not why?
also would a Asus K8V-SE Deluxe S754 VIA k8t800 ATX Sound Gig lAN Firewire USB 2.0 FSB 800 Retail Box be compatible this can be found at.

why

some guy called URYLIN said it beacuse it was a amd k6 board it would not work or if it did it wouldnt be worth it. can some one explain. all in wonder 9200 256 mb will be sold on ebay with a starting price of £20.

Dude, make your thread title more clear....put something of your problem in it not only help!!!....
change it to something more properly so we kno what's wrong without looking in the thread....

Mobo ... I wasn't sure what board you had and your right my reply wasn't clear... I was just trying to help and in my opinion if you had a AMD K6 it was more video card than you needed with that board. But I didn't know you had a AMD64 in which I would have said it would work fine. I took the time to look up the MSI PT-2200 that you said your board was and I told you what I found... and should wait for a reply on the first thread you post another

Asus K8V-SE Deluxe - ok for x800 and ok board,stable
Dfi Lanparty ut nforce3 250- ok for x800 and best s754 board IMHO.
Msi k8n neo platinum- ok for x800 and great board
Gygabyte k8ns pro- ok for x800 ok board,stable
Epox 8kda3+ - ok for x800 but some temp and some memory compatibility issues (maybe new bios fixed taht)
