I just bought this hardrive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...L072508-_-InternalHardDrives-_-L0A-_-22136218 for my rig and now have three hardrives. Will I have enough power . Currently my rails hardly move under extreme overclocking, but I'm concerned they might with

    Processor: Qx9650 4.0ghz at 1.36v 10x400fsb/ 4.2ghz 10.5x400 1.416v

    Video Card: EVGA 280 GTX 1gb 720/1500/1280
Harddisk: 80gig Maxtor 7200 rpm/20 gig 7200 rmp Segate Barracuda, Western Digital Caviar SE16 640Gb New drive
CD/DVD Drive: Lg external DvD Burner/ Lg internal DvD/ CD Drive SATA

as a side note I only have one internal DVD Drive the other is USB. I plan on keeping windows XP on the 20GB drive and using the 80 GB as a back up drive. I then plan on putting vista on the 640GB drive next month.

I would think so. I running the same power supply. I have the Asus P5E, the little sister to the maximus. E8400 at 3.6, 2x2 corsair Dominator 1066 at 2.1. Five SATA II Hard drives. HD4850 , 1 burner, and 8 fans including the cpu and GPU. I have been fine so far.

You're fine, people always think you need a lot more power for stuff when you really don't and plus you're only adding another harddrive.. So you will be fine
