    That's a pretty good price on a TB drive tho it is a hitachi so i would have to pass

    What's wrong with Hitachi? I have a few drives from them that have been running at least 3 years or more 24/7 without so much as a hiccup.

    Hitachi drives are solid. Do a little bit of recent research before posting misinformation.

    well there are alot of HDD manufacturer's on newgg, but the ones i buy without a worry are:
    Samsung
    seagate
    western digital
    Hitachi
    Fujitsu.

    Then there's DELL, HP, Lenovo, maxtor. which i've never bought or seen any of their drives. cept for in pre-builds, so i can't imagine them being as good a quality as these other manufacturers.
