I want to buy two hard disks for raid and I mainly care about reliability. I found the Hitachi 7K1000.D (HDS721010DLE630) at a store with 3 years warranty and kind of low price (59euros). Should I buy this or something else? (the most stores are still selling the 7K1000.C model)

Look out for some Toshiba drives. I just bought a pair, dirt cheap too however they are a newer series of rebranded Hitachis

Check out some Western Digital Red's too. They are designed for use in RAID configuration.
