HL2 Episode 1 wont install

Hey guys, got a problem with half life 2 episode one not installing, its saying that I dont have enough disk space and obvisouly i got about 257gigs left, can't seem to figure out what the problem is, any help much appreciated, cheers.

is steam installed to a smaller HD, or in a PW protected folder, if so thats why

it may also be reading the wrong drive. it could be looking for temp space on drive C:

its not PW protected, not sure whats doin it, my HD is the C: drive so doesnt matter, already finished the game enough, doesnt matter, thanks anyways

The game installs to whatever drive steam is installed to.

just make sure the drive steam is on has empty space, and that the steam folder is not write protected.
