Hope this can give some help to stop turning into BSOD when using edited bios

This would be better placed in the ATi/AMD section, IMO, you might want to get a mod to move it there.

That article is completely unrelated to the issue where atikmdag.sys causes a BSoD on system startup after a BIOS with modified clocks has been flashed.

Follow the microsoft link in that article. There are some registry keys to disable the TDR feature. I sold my 6800 card. So I can't check if this will work.

From the link you posted:

"TDR (Timeout Detection and Recovery) is a windows vista and windows 7 feature. Its purpose is to detect when the GPU stops responding, disable it and reinitialize it without the need to exit windows or reboot."

That is not what happens when you flash a BIOS with modified clocks. In that instance, atikmdag causes a BSoD before the computer even gets into Windows, while TDR is triggered when Windows is fully operational and atikmdag detects a problem with the GPU.

tl;dr that article is completely unrelated.
