    Hello,

I recently got the smoking deal from ati. $89 for a refurb x800pro with 3 year warranty. free shipping, too!

Anyway I got it and it is a x800pro pci-e vivo. I remember when I had an agp version of this card the bios could be flashed to unlock the 4 extra pipelines. How can I make this happen? Do I use the ati x800xt bios in the bios database? I also saw a thread about fuses: http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=5367. I'd read it if it wasn't so long. Are there certain values that determine if unlocking pipes is possible.

    CHIPE NAME: ?
    CONFIG_DIE_FUSES: ?
    CONFIG_SUBSTRATE_FUSES: ?
    CONFIG_ROMFUSES: ?

    Thanks for your help!

This article says the method is the same for both pci-e and agp, but it says to use the x800 xt pe bios, which is not in the database: http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/100

    Where can I find it?

Post your fuses and don't use any BIOS befor to understand whether flashing is reasonable.

unfortunately I don't have a pci-e mb yet. I bought it as the vid card for my upcoming conroe build.

However I do know someone who got the same card from the deal and i've asked him to use ati tool to check the fuses.

Assuming we get the F in the two places, what bios would we use?

Yes, and I'd recommend using THIS method first.
What you haven't stated yet is whether your card has VIVO or not.
Assuming it does, then try using the BIOS under the ATI section labeled "X800 Pro VIVO 16P".
The BIOS download section is HERE!
