Why do people keep fueling the fire by posting on this thread, why not just let the thread die?

Why not just voltmod the card as per the guide on this site here:

    http://www.techpowerup.com/articles//overclocking/voltmods/112/4

But instead of using a 10k VR use a 5k VR then turn it all the way down....then wait until the whole forum can smell burning, undo the mod, clean up the solder and send the card back under warranty......I assure you......too much voltage thru the regulator WILL fry the card, I did it quite by accident on an old 7900GT and it was warranty replaced no probs providing you clean up the mod.

8 pages of garbage LOL. 'Tis a bit entertaining though.

4 pages of POWERLESS USERS BEGGING for a thread to get locked?
    Pathetic.
Ask once if you must. If it doesn't get locked, give it up.

AFAIK this should be left open. I don't see anything incredibly wrong here (wrong yes, incredibly wrong? Hes not eating babies)

Some people around here think they have some special 'influence' over what's posted, who posts, etc. It's disgusting.

GET OVER IT. IF YOU DON'T AGREE, post your discontent. DON'T POST WHORE

We didn't make you read this. Voice your opinion (preferably once). People will read it.

PLEASE try not to post the same goddam thing in 8 freaking posts(trying my hand at 'influence' over what's being posted ).
How many times is someone going to BEG this to get closed?

FYI - I could care less, this just isn't important to me. Murder, war, genocide, discrimination, Oil, the enviroment, these are the issues people should seriously discuss.
    laszlo says thanks.

its back from the grave! lol

in case someone missed it we decided the best way to fry a video card was to dip it in a beer batter and drop it in a pot of hot grease at 350 degrees for ten minutes untill it reaches golden brown color then serve with glass of milk :D
