just as he said, check this out
295 is a dual gpu card, its only using 1 gpu thus why chug chug chug
frame rate on my system when i had 5850 crossfire performance was the same single or dual gpu didnt matter,
so effectively your comparing at least in GTA IV a gtx 275 downclocked vs a 480
well that's annoying as hell. I just bought this game in a steam sale.
No mentions for the ENB mod? FOR SHAME. Not that anyone would give a trepidious fuck one way or the other.
Buying something in a Steam sale is nothing similar to buying it for a low price for the manufactured version.
Ear Noob Boob?
East Night Brawl?
Empire News Bloopers?
Eidos Nut Bucker?
Earn New Beer?
Eat Nasty Bread?
seriously you can't just shoot out a random acronym and expect everyone to know what you're talking about.
Technically he just did. ENB mod (which is a great mod, makes things look much better) works like shit with the latest patch on the Steam version.
AND works best with the retail! There's alot of YouTube 1080p videos of it which look quite nice. I'm quite sure the computer I'm building will be able to play it, even after unlcoking the GPU.
Yes, hopefully someone can get it working through Steam again. Well, it does work through steam, there's just some .inf's that need changing so the contrast/brightness isn't way too high. The Ultra texture mod (I think that's the name, not at home atm) is good as the engine draws the modded textures better then the stock textures plus they look better.
I won't have that problem since I'll be buying the retail of the GTA games.
well then you missed out, picked up the entire gta series for 15$ on steam the other day.
link to said mod?
Including GTA 1, London: 1969 and 2?
I'll be buying these since yes I greatly still prefer retail manufactured product and DGAF about sales on Steam.
Only the really damn old games on Steam I care about along with the digital distribution only.
http://enbdev.com/download_en.htm <-Good luck trying to get it to work with the Steam version.
There's links for them everywhere
Ultimate Textures v2.0
Ultimate Car Mod
These are the three I'm using that work right now.
There's different versions of the Ultimate Car Mod so if you could link me to that, that would be nice
Also how do you install these? Bear in mind I'm using the steam version
Thats good any chance of some pics with and without SLI.
From what i been seeing around has not been any were near impressive.
I just remembered my cpu should be boosting up to 3.3ghz under load with amd turbocore
but i get the feeling it isn't
anyway of checking? :d
Yellow bricks are turbo
GTA San Andreas
GTA Vice City
GTA Episodes from Liberty City
I did. All it takes is a bit of google searching to figure out what .inf files need to be edited. The only mod that doesn't seem to work with the Steam version at this point is the RealizmIV mod due to it's self-installer. There are better mods out there than the RealizmIV mod so it's moot.
Doesn't matter since you don't have the physical retail versions. Manufactured physical retail releases are worth far more to me compared to a shitty digitally distributed download. No thanks.
I won't know yet until my computer is finished and that includes the 6950 2GB unlocked to 6970.
Sounds good, just don't turn this thread into an off topic conversation on your feelings with digitally distributed downloads. It doesn't matter in regards to the topic and isn't needed.
Yep. My friend went from a 3.4ghz yorkfield to a 4.5 ghz 2500k. Massive difference in all games, especially cpu dependent ones. Double frame rate in wow, fsx, and gta.
I downloaded some of these, but I don't know how to install them
edit: okay I think I did the realism one, just merge/replace files from the "common" folder
I'll test it now :d
Separate names with a comma.
