How many people have bled building their computer?

i once sliced the entire palm of my hand open after cutting a few holes in the top of my case.. it was a lot sharper than it looked xD

sliced up my hands so amny times on coolers and fans, especially high performance fans. If you installed your cooling without blood loss, then your oc's will be poor and you will suck at gaming. it's a fact.

'Back in the day', when cases typically had more sharp corners, I use to cut my fingers all of the time. Hell, I think I cut myself so much that it was strange if I didn't bleed. Then again that was 6-7 years ago, when I was much less patient.

The nasty bits of my beloved, the CM690, are so sharp that it can come as quite a surprise when I discover a splattering of blood all over the motherboard.

The worst thing that has happened to me was not actually the case itself more rather when i was lapping my TRUE i managed to cheese grater my hand that hurt for about a week

Yes I have, but that doesn't necessarily mean it overclocks. Just meant my finger slipped and my knuckle scraped against a fan blade or something. :-/

Countless times, I hate those sharp edges on I/O panels.

I cute my hands on everything- its rediculas.
I work at a tech shop myself were i work on 10-15 computers at 1 time.

The worst part is the cheap ass cases we build our computers with.

Ive cut my self
on io panels,
Back edges of the case,
Front edges of the case,
Multiple fans,
Opening the actual boxes of these freaking parts,
The back of some motherboards have sharp led spikes on them *ow*,
Power supply's,
Heat sinks,


One time i was opening an i5- 750 to put in a costumers system, The little plastic capsule that has the cpu in it when opening the box- This one was abnormally stuck when i was trying to open it, son of a bitch little plastic thing had a sharp plastic edge to it, so i slid my finger on it trying to pry it open, it cut my finger and made my bleed enough to get something to cover my finger.

Dam intel and there cheap plastic packaging for processor- and gay heatsinks!

Cant tell you how many times those stupid open fan intel heatsinks cut me while i tried to adjust wires on the job.

1 time i almost lost a nail to my ultra kaze fan.

While carrying a full loaded antec 902 Cold rolled steal case- 3 Gtx 260's, 750tx power supply, 7 fans, 4 hardrives, H50 water cooler, antec spot cool fan, corsair ram cooler, 4 sticks of ram, Fan controllers, even a modded portable drive, with cold cathodes, and adapters.

Thing wieghed 60-70 pounds easy, I to lift it up like a toy and throw it back into a subarban because my freinds dad didnt want to wait.

Didnt cut me- just broke my sholder practicly.

I have cut myself so many times building computers I can not count all them . Mostly I have done this on the cases .

I cut myself on some I/O panels and some motherboards and shit. It's inevitable.

One time one of my fans (the one that's just sitting beside my video card) fell over when I was playing Doom 3 late at night (or early morning, whatever you want to call it), and I reached down to pick it up and it cut a nice hole under the finger nail.

Thing bled like mad for 3 days.
