How many TPU forum members does it take to change a Light Bulb?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed:)

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently:ohwell:

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs:wtf:

1 to move it to the Lighting section:rockout:

2 to argue then move it to the Electrical section:slap:

7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs:banghead:

5 to flame the spell checkers:shadedshu

    3 to correct spelling/grammar flames:rolleyes:

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid:twitch:

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp":p

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct:cool:

2 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum:nutkick:

11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum:slap:

20 who will take the photo and photoshop it with different lamp shades so you can see the differences.:respect:

36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty:eek:

7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs:pimp:

4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's:roll:

5 to post photos of lightbulbs that they have changed.

13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too":banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy:cry:

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"

1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.:toast:

    Am I right?

It would only take one member

who will take the photo and photoshop it with different lamp shades so you can see the differences.

    BUT

theJesus is a member of TPU
    http://forums.techpowerup.com/member.php?u=56474

    His Dad
    Genesis 1:3
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

So Jesus could do the same thing, but doing that would take no people power. It would be God power.

So it would take no members more or less to get the light bulb changed!!!

My official answer: It would take zero people.

Me to remove the lightbulb and replace it with an LED light, which will negate the need to replace it for at least 10 years.
I've seen this before, but its still funny. :)

Compact fluorescents are horrible for the environment. Has anyone read up on the steps that need to be taken when they break? Toxic stuff. LED's are the future of bulbs. Don't be a fanboy.:p

I just had a thought . . . perhaps this thread should be stickied - if not for the comical factor of the OP, but the fact everyone's responses hold it true . . .

or we could wait the 6 months until it some decides to get out the voodoo drum and practice their necromancy skillz :p
