Guilty as charged, I just go for the score+conclusion and that nice pictures :D. Hey, that doesn't mean I don't love TPU. :lovetpu:

So, how much do you read from a TPU review?

After realising just how much effort it takes, I've started reading the whole thing. Before that, I would go straight to my Res FPS figures and the Conclusion. As for cases, I go straight for fan mount info and assembly pics.

I don't think there is a right or wrong way to read a review, and I don't expect people to read the full review.

The typical pattern I expect is: go to last page, look at score (that's why we have it), then decide if it's worth reading the conclusion, read conclusion, then branch out into summaries or power/heat/noise, then pics.

I read them thoroughly if I am thinking of buying the item. In fact I read about the item on several tech sites to see what issues if any crop up in testing. If I am only curious about an item then I go to the conclusion page and read it. The conclusion page here sums the item up pretty well.

First I look at Performance tests and Noise Tests to discriminate between products.
If they pass that first cut, then I read carefully the rest of the review and view most of the photos.

I have tinnitus, so I'm a bit obsessed with having a silent computer. I usually look first at noise levels, possible presence of coil whine, buzzing...
And now that my main rig is on a small MicroATX chassis I also look for things like video card lengths to see if they could fit inside my case (sometimes the length is not listed on the official specs, and TPU is the only website that measures them). I even look closely at the photos searching for protuding parts that won't fit, and if they could be removed without voiding the warranty or making the device useless.

Using a small case and pretending to have a silent and powerful computer is a time-consuming challenge :( But thanks to the excellent reviews at TPU it's much easier :D

That's a really good estimate/expectations. If it's not too personal, how did you came up with it? Data from the Google Analytics account of TPU?

I have tinnitus, so I'm a bit obsessed with having a silent computer.

I've never heard of this condition before. I think I have it too now. I am obsessed with having silent PC as well.

lol Its a lot more work than it seems isn't it?

People have no idea how much work goes into that stuff. If you notice I may joke around and troll basic threads but I tend not to screw around in review threads. To much love is put into those to have my jackass in them intentionally or unintentionally derailing them. TPU has hands down the best reviews despite any personal tit for tat crap the work is beyond respectable and beyond what any other tech site provides.

If I cant record 2 votes, TBH I look at title/item, then read the entire review.

Now that said, I will skip around on some items, like cases, but still the whole review get's read.

There some items that I'm not savy about like say NAS so then I may just do conclusions and comments, then sometimes go through some of the review

tinnitus: ringing in the ears, I have it really bad off an on, but it continuously annoying but mostly right ear get's it super loud. I think one measurement was 42db, cant remember the Hz range of hand

W1zzard knows all, can follow isp pages, order ect.... like he said few years go most members use "remember me" password, and most all never have changed them..........

I always look through the pictures first. Then look at the games which I play or have engines similar to other games I play. Each initial release I skim through all the games. Then power consumption through temps/clock profile. Then to the last page for pros and cons. I rarely read the conclusion unless there seems to be something important to know.

This is for the GPU reviews. The other reviews I prefer to get from other sites or are for products that don't interest me.

For GPU reviews, I read through the first few pages and admire the pretty pictures, and then browse through the games that I play or are a good basis, then skip to power/noise, then conclusion.

Once in a while, I'll skip to see the score and usually conclusion, and if it catches my eye, I'll go back and read through it.

After that, I usually spent some time crying that I can't afford to change hardware and envy those that can

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
I voted on scores and conclusion, but my option wasn't really there. Truth be told, for GPUs anyway, I cherry pick the results summary to see how it compares in the landscape. Chances are, since I review for a different site, I know, hopefully most, of what he has in the rest of the review. But TPU is a "go-to" site for GPU reviews, motherboard reviews, and 2nd on the list in PSU reviews (sorry mr maris, JG has you!! :p).

The review team here is very thorough in what they do.

I skim over the whole thing so I voted first option ... I read some of it, different sections for different products ... oh, and I look at every picture and every graph, borderline ocd style

I disagree on the PSU statement. Most review sites don't even know how to read an oscilloscope properly.
