I was wondering what the real price of the game would be for US, UK, etc,

does anyone know, because I don't pre-order games and when I see activision putting out things like

It makes me wonder, I see the price at gamestop is 60 bucks but when they say things like that I just wonder.

RRP of £54.99, but I've not seen a single place selling it for that much. PC is £30 in most places. 360 £35-40

£54.99 would kill MW2 sales in the UK.

You know what else will hurt sales? It being delayed 2 weeks for the PC
First a price increase, now it's delayed. Seriously, Activision, sod off. And then they'll start whining about how piracy is rampant in the PC, wankers.

It should be $50 on the PC, but well see. It will be the first non-collectors edition out for the PC above $50, GO Activision!

In the quote they say that in comparison to the time played on this game to others, it is worth paying more. Really? why, by those comparisons, although MW was one of my favorite games, MW would be worth $50, and warcraft 3 would probably be around $16,667 or so, being that I played only 6 or so hours of MW, and around 2,000 hours of WC3. (acutal figures of actual game times, not including sitting in the lobby chatting with clanmates, watching games, watching replays etc...)

Well $50 is to much for that game to me, The last ability is very short. Games that take 50+ hours like Fallout Oblivion are worth that much.

Well you do have your exceptions like Hitman :). But $60 they can stick it were the sun don't shine.

Shit, I didn’t even notice the price increase for the PC! I am used to PS3 games being that expensive but when the PC version is the same price…wtf!? I'll wait till it comes down in price.

It would have been $50 but Activision raised their prices across the board $10.

Its $60. I pre-ordered mine for $5 so I only have to pay $55 when it releases.

But that would be cool if they cut the price if the PC release date gets pushed back 2 weeks.

@$60 is insane.. but with lack of any good pc games out atm this seems like a great deal. I'd pay $80 if it came out tomorrow.

I can't believe I paid $50 for champions online.. cant even re-sell it for $20

RFG wasnt a bad deal @$40
