how to check if your pci-e buss is locked properly

    i know there are programs that can tell you what your pci-e and pci buss clocks are, i need one, i want to check if my boards pci-e buss is locking properly when overclocking the cpu.

    easy way is to OC your GPU\VRAM with your system @ stock, if you get oddness happening with your graphics when you oc your system, then its not locking properly.

    I haven't heard of a pci-e bus without a lock these days..

    but clockgen should show you raw frequencies for the pci-e bus anyways.

    its asus, they took from 202 to 609 to get this boards bios so they could overclock, i wouldnt dought they fooked something like pci-e locks up in the prosess.

    and some gigabyte boards have fauilty locks due to bios issues from what i have read, but the gigabyte monotoring software shows pci-e clock :/
