Thanks, I just try, and what happened to me this time is that the screen was paralyzed after 5 minutes of play ...

I deleted them. cnf, which is in the folder of the game and the one in the folder AppData / Local etc. ..

Thats a strange bug :wtf:... I remember having problems until i installed a certain patch or fix... Did you try running in directx 10 instead of 11...

I tried all the Directx .. all graphics settings (low, high, etcc ..)

I'll have to pass the game with a single GTX460 and use the 2 nd for advanced Physx ... xD

Hi, all you need to know is in this manual->New SliPatch Site
Just put the card in, install the newest driver(266.58) and install SliPatch.
You should be better off with the newest driver because it contains Sli profiles to new games ...

Make sure that the driver detects the second card, if not, install the drivers again.
Install SliPatch, reboot and Sli away

Hello,

I have 2 GTX460 768s and I am trying to SLI on a GA-MA790X-UD4P (confirmed working previously) on Vista x64 SP2

I have tried all patch versions and 260.99 and 266.58 and none of them work. Card is recognized fine. SLI option does not come up in control panel and certification is not present.

Here are my everest and control panel screens

help?

Nevermind, got it working...!

All I did was turn on the "optimized defaults" in the BIOS settings... The SLI option disappeared on the boot list, then I reinstalled it and it appeared again. This time when I selected it, it worked!

Help Needed

Sorry guys I am a noob.

I seems like I have no success in applying the new version 1.0 sli patch.

My motherboard is still showing x48 chipset.

Is this the only procedure that needs to be done?

Thanks and appreciate your help.

That's all you have to do. Once installed, boot with the "sli enabled" option. You won't see anything in cpuz ect. The only way you'll know it's working is if you have 2 cards installed, then you can select the sli option in Nvidia Control Panel.

Hi guys, i`ve been reading this thread for 2 days now trying to figure out my sli problem, yet i`ve come to no sollution.

I`m using an Intel S5520SC (bios version:0055) mother board, 2x quadro fx4800 with windows 7 x64.

I`m planing to do a fresh install and combine the feedback i`ve gathered from the 2 guys (derGhostrider and coolmiester )having about the same hardware as me.

I`ll attach the coresponding step by step guides.

I`d apreciate some advice regarding the following -

Fresh windows 7 x64 install
Quadro drivers (which drivers ? the latest ones or the ones that worked for derGhostrider?)
SliString Installer v1.81 - Asus CER
HalMod 0.9a

Does it matter if i do halmod before slistring and viceversa ?

Best regards.

You should be able to use the latest drivers. Don't bother with those old patches, just use the slipatch 1.0 installer, that's all you need.

Because its a very informative thread, with a lot of good info on it about not only how to hack sli, but also on how sli works, how motherboards are put together and other things.
I've learned a ton via reading just this thread alone.

and what confusion would that be? the confusion you feel when entering a forum?

or possibly a thread, that had a reply as recent as yesterday?

i am sorry, what part of ' How To: Enable SLI on pre-i7/i5 hardware ' do you find confusing?

is it the 'this hax also works on AMD crossfire boards' part?

or pretty much any board that supposeidly doesnt support SLI?

do you have an SLI board?

it helped me,to load the newest multi gpu profiles available, and to rename the crysis2.exe to rift.exe, after that, the flicker was gone with my 4870x2... should be a general multi-gpu problem... and the engine is inoptimized as hell by now:D

Is anyone running the patch on XP 32-bit?
I could say that combination of driver + patch do you use?

Currently I have running the GTX460 SLI in Win7x64, but I would spend some benchs in XP, but I do not run the SLI ..

That is exactly what I am using in Win7, and I've tested on XP and does not work ...

It's working here...

Do you have dual boot? It can be the problem...
