how to see fps in games

I know fraps but i want to know if there is another program that shows the fps on a game you are playing. the only requirement is that IT MUST BE FREEWARE

And power amp usage and a few other things if i remember correctly.. Not used it for a long time as it had issue's with my heavily overclocked 2900XT.

Not tried it with the 4890 maybe i should :p.. Although don't need it really these days as for FPS it's either playable to me or not and don't need a FPS program to tell me that lol. And for power usage well thats on the front of the PC so.
