This is a very cool opportunity for anyone wanting to expand his or her knowledge of most anything.

These are completely free and many of them include a certificate of achievement once the class is completed.

    https://www.edx.org/

These are instructed from some of the worlds best universities and usually last 6 weeks. Most will only require 3 to 5 hours a week in order to complete the class.

Want to learn something new? Check the tons of classes available!

I have personally taken a couple of classes in the last year or so and it really is an awesome program.

Coursera is a similar outfit; I took a great Intro To Computer Networking class there through U of Washington. Yes, take advantage of this stuff while it's free! Though, of course, one day when it is no longer free you will be able to earn actual credits too.

Thanks for the reminder about EDX; I haven't checked it in awhile. I am going to take that Linux class too even though I am a bit beyond the basics. I will still learn things though because I don't use it every day like other operating systems.

remixedcat, Arjai and stinger608 say thanks.
