i did a dumb thing.

    i have a crosshair v formula mobo and i was putting in a front usb 3 panel and i had to take out one of my video cards to reach the plug. well when i got it back together i had no video after trying to figure it out for a hour i discovered i for got to plug the power plugs to the video card back in. dumb me:banghead:

    Nothing dumb with it imo. I've seen dumber stuff in the pc scene like forcing a thermal glued ramsink off and stuff like that.

    yeah it not the worst, ive seen people pull out psu connections when the pc is still on and then they were wondering why there psu stopped working lol oops

    Can you imagine my panic when my re-assembled PC (after a cleanup) gave the memory error beep (Long-Short-Short), only to later realise the RAM sticks were lying on my desk?

    this one time i bought a $180 kit of Gskills 4GB DDR3 when x58 came out. I got them in and misplaced them. I found them 2 years later on a cubby rack with my hoodies.

    If I spent $180 and lost the item, things would be tore up looking for it.

    Since the topic has come to this:

    I was spraying out my computer with canned air one time, and my wife had sat a can of ant killing spray next to my can. I sprayed out my system with bug spray for a second before I realized the mist was wet.

    The computer worked fine, thankfully the bug spray wasn't very conductive.

    (They both had the straw in them)
