So I make a post saying "A good mouse has improved my game!" and you all basically just go and say "Nah u just used to sux coz u r gey and I can pwn wit any mouses coz I r the badest ass."

Please go dick yourselves.

I pwn just fine with any mouse, a good mouse that glides more swiftly just made it a lot easier.

As far as the money goes, I got the Razer for 40 bucks. I swear I paid 50 for the IM3.0, and all the good Logitech mice are just as expensive.

 I have no idea what you are meaning to say?

from what Ive can gather from all this, is that
1: yes a good mouse helps you game better.
2: Razor and Logitech both make good gaming mice
3: Razor Mice are unreliable, but good when they are working

Show me one top LAN player that uses a ball mouse or some shitty oem 2$ mouse with an optical engine from 1998. I do agree that a good player will always be a good player though, and a bad player will be a bad player; and that having a quality mouse will not make a bad player good, nor will it make a good player bad. however having the mouse that is right for you will work wonders.

I should have stated this before, but

ITS ALL SUBJECTIVE TO WHAT YOU LIKE AND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU.

Your mouse and mouse surface are in the top 3 most important things in competitive gaming, with framerate and sound.

Oh and all mice fail eventually, ive had a MX518 go strong for 5 yrs then drop dead suddenly, and a deathadder that was DOA, etc etc.

however you cannot beat Logitechs RMA. Best in business IMO

You know.. When you have an headache, you take a pill and water. It's the water that makes the headache dissapere for most of the time (since the headache mainly is because you need water!).

To believe in that a specific mouse makes you better - is no more than a hoax. However, a good mouse can make the difference, it just doesn't need to be a Razer or a Logitech or even an MS mouse. It's like this:

You see target on the screen.
You'r reaction time telling you do "press button" takes a certain time. If you can train your reaction time to be faster and on an ordinary 2 button laser "non gaming" mouse with say 1800dpi, then you have got skills all of a sudden.. The faster you can do something the better you get. Just ask anyone who is in the army or anyone who is a police, it's the decision you make that will be the judge. If you are not fast enough, it doesn't matter whatever "weapon" (mouse) you use, be it A4Tech, Razer, Logitech or using an Neural Impulse Actuator. If you ain't fast enough, you die anyway.

What I want to point out, in the end it's YOU who control the mouse, and not the mouse that controls you. YOU make all decisions when to fire, where to place the troops, what to do etc.etc.

I have seen all sorts of "mice" all from pistol looking objects to the Zalman "fps gun". All that I know however is that reaction time is just as important as the gear. But somewhere on the way there is still certain things in the hardware that you use that also can make a difference. But it doesn't need to empty your wallet, and it doesn't need to be "Award winning". It's like almost watching a movie, just because it got 10 stars no one say that you must like it.

As for the 32k memory on the Copperhead, you can store settings and plug it into another system - no need for installing drivers (they say, but somewhere I don't believe it..).

Good analogy. Just as a match gun will get you better grouping than a normal gun.

Plus, button layout will get ya more kills than a normal mouse.

You can`t expect to switch you regular mouse with gaming mouse and instantly get better and get more kills. Time is needed to get used to gaming mouse. And if you suck with regular mouse you will suck with gaming mouse also :D.

my friend just bought this mouse few days ago he said the performance and comfort was night and day vs his old one which was Genius mouse

Cheap VS Gaming mouse

I'm currently using the same as my friends mouse but I'm looking forward on Razer's mouse as it's one of the best gaming mouse in the market.

Would a Razer's Keyboard will also make my gaming experience night and day? If I purchase those two Razer mouse + keyboard I can buy a new GFX card like a 4850
