    Highly dependent on room temperature.

Otherwise, you'll see a max 3-5 degrees difference, but more on the lower side.

if you need more cooling then the H80 can give
time to upgrade to a full water loop

so not that much of a difference to be wasting the money on to change. i would think about the h100 if i had the room but my case is a coolermaster stacker and my power supply mounts on top.

Get a Noctua NH-D14, put 3 Noctua fans in a tri-push pull setup on it, then 1 more noctua fan as your exhaust, then 1 more as intake in front of the first fan on the HDD. thats what I do. 5 fans basically super close to your heatsink all in push pull.

my i5-2500k never gets hot and idles around 24 celsius, lol

From a value standpoint, not really a practical idea. Maybe the money can go to a new case? :)
