I have a quality computer, not a gaming computer but a normal PC.
Now here's the problem. I have downloaded many steam games and I can't play most of them. And when I do get them working it says "you need to connect to steam" even though I am. Can anyone help or point me to a place that can help? Thanks.

You might wanna try disabling your firewall and security software to see if that may be blocking the connections.

If it's your firewall and you don't want to disable it, you can just set and exception for Steam.
