Palit own gainward, after they went bankrupt coz nvidia cant keep up with ati on their fx series(gainward was nvidia cutom card specialist). They started to sell amd card too, to cover the loss. Just until they made custom sonic 4800 series, ATI's told them to stop selling these card. Some source said that their custom card have some issues with durability(they dies prematurely), but some other said that other brand(i'm not sure, but they must be ATI's main customer like Hxx, Saxxxxx, Axxx, Gxxxxxxx, Pxxxxxxxxx, Xxx, etc) told ATI to stop Palit selling their card(Palit make some goddam hotcard, their sonic is really sonic) but Palit refuse to do so(They have policy to make custom card but still maintain low price). Palit experienced low supply in ATI's card for whichever reason mentioned before. So perhaps that's why we don't see any Palit ATI.

Please let me know if you have some info about it, i wanna see Palit custom 5800 series.

Gainward and xpertvision where sub divisions of Palit, i had no idea they went bankrupt.
They made cards for the last gen of graphics cards, like the 4870 and GTX260.

Maybe they just havnt finalised the design or have no stock?

I think it's very important that Palit stay with AMD.

Why would other ATI's partner cornered Palit?

Palit designed many custom card with custom PCB design, higher reference clock and still maintain low price. I still remember when they released their HD 4850 Sonic, it was pretty fast not too expensive, managed to beat the crap out of Asus. I like their Sonic card, hehe their HD 4870 Sonic.

Now with Palit out of the ATI line, no one to keep ATI's partner in check as they sell custom card very expensively.
