I got mine from Newegg for about $310+ tax after Live 3% cash back+ Free S&H.

Plus I got Assasins Creed as a freebie.

It was a gamble though.

Newegg really needs to allow their customers to order the CPU that they want. If I would have gotten a C1 stepper I would have sent it back.

then i narrowed the catagories down till i just had cpus

found a few new in box q9650s, q9550s and qx9650s for an alright price

after 30% cashback though they would all be $100-$180 cheaper than ANYWHERE else

did i do it right? cause if not im not gonna buy.

That is a sweet CPU for a great price. Over my budget though.

I'm waiting for Corsair to send back some RAM I had to RMA.

May not be till next week till I get my machine up and running and ready for some OC+benchmarks.

I'm hoping for at least a stable 500 FSB.

That is $248.99 with the %30 cash live +tax if any + $20 S&H.

A little over $40 less than what I paid.

I feel like a got a good deal and I trust newegg.


I'm a sucker for deals though.

If I return my CPU to Newegg i have to pay about 7 dollars for shipping and insurance.


Then I have to pay more now and wait 60 days to get 30% back.
