No. I doubt it has a compatible socket and upgrading the processor on a laptop just isn't possible in most cases.

Depends entirely on what laptop it is. Probably not, but which laptop is it?

I upgraded my CPU on my Dell Inspiron from a 1.6Ghz to 2.4Ghz, so its possible on some laptops. Like others have said, it depends on the laptop and make sure the new processor is compatible.
