i7 1155 Sandybridge Mobo help.

Hello i am in need of motherboard help for i7 1155 Sandybridge:

I play games and use 3D packages and Game Editors

I need two decent PCI -E slots x16 and x8 at least

I dont overclock

So do i just find a cheap P67 or Z68 series?

Anyhow, I suggest checking out cadaveca's reviews here. Also, if you have or are planning to get an SSD, the Z68 has so handy options. Personally, I'm happy with my ASRock board.

Hello yes i am planning on aquiring one of Seagates Momentus XT Hybrid drives as i don't really want to splash out on an SSD with so little storage space. Will they go well with the Z68?

Highly suggest same board as Alex has due to your PCI-e slot requirements, Z68 flavor if wanting the "Intel SSD stuff"( I don't remember proper term) or P67 if needing to save some cash.

The thing with that sapphire pure black board is it doesn't support SLi.
That may or may not be an issue for you, but it is one of the few boards that's crossfire only.

Ok i have settled for this motherboard so far.

ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68

For £150 i think that tops the mobo budget for me.

the extreme 3 gen 3 is 50 bucks cheaper and just as good
