-$30.00 USD to Hawaii and Alaska

    -$36.00 USD to Canada

    -$36.00 USD to Puerto Rico

So, what qualifies one for "Rock Legend" status? I also wonder what is needed for proof of where you are employed.

I believe you need to do an online training course to get rock legend.
Apparently, you can get rockstar in about 10 hours - They changed the system and it takes over a month to become a rockstar now :(
    Producer takes about 2 hours.

I am not sure what proof they require, most probably a payslip or contract.

I work at Costco, but I was never told I could get a discount on anything like this. Is it just one discount per person? Because I wouldn't mind upgrading to a 3930k at that price.

It looks like they want to offload the old models before Haswell comes in. Still a great offer if you can get it, though.

At those prices I'd pay the person double and they can pocket the rest.

Just one per person. But if you have any friends that would be willing to get me one, I'd love one. I'd also, obviously send a little extra for the trouble.

I added a link to the OP along with Shipping prices

I'd be willing to take one of these off someone's hands for a generous gratuity. If you can get one and have a decent heatware record, PM me.

Don't know how TPU handles this, but purchasing these for a reason other than personal use (as in to resell for profit), is a violation of Intel's ToS. Similar to how ES samples are not supposed to be sold, etc.

Usually TPU doesn't tolerate blatant violations of ToS, so it would be great if one of the moderators or W1zzard could clarify whether asking people here in a thread to source one for you is acceptable or not.

Intel's restriction is yet another example of a big corporation trying to curtail your first sale rights, by the looks of it. You bought it retail, how the hell do they have the right to say not to resell it at any price you want?

Note I'm not advocating using tpu as a commercial platform - that's definitely against the rules. You can sell it on ebay though.

If he works a register his number should appear on the receipts from his register when on duty.

intel you little f!@&%! i could ki!%§($§"( your little Ba!§%/("")"!

i paid 180€ for a i5 3570K in europe, are you retarted or what?
How come a normal firm sells stuff this cheap? Even if they are on the retail shelves, just drop the price there instead of burning them on some shady backyardstyle deal!

these are i7! Me want one so badly!! arg

They are reward for retail employees that take Intel sales courses. The first level course is pretty easy.

It's kind of like a bribe to get retail staff on intel hardware, they are then more likely to recommend Intel CPUs.

It's called the Intel Retail Edge Program.

A buddy of mine is in it and gets all the goodies from Intel for super cheap. The "status's" are for members that have invested time, money, and drank from the eternal Intel dispensary of knowledge(aka you have to watch videos on Intel stuff).
