That hard drive is VERY expensive.

Here is the new 1tb sammy drive which is faster than that 320gb one and cheaper: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/1TB-Samsung-HD103SJ-Spinpoint-F3-SATA-3Gb-s-7200rpm-32MB-Cache-89-ms-NCQ-OEM

**edit**

just saw you had 2 of those drives - will you be raiding them? If not the 1tb will be better (or 2 1tb drives if you still want raid :p)

**edit 2**

You'll want an aftermarket cooler if you intend to OC that proc (you really should OC it too). Oh and personally i'd push for a 6gb ram kit (3x2) instead of the 3x1 kit you have there (which means use 64bit windows 7 as well).

RAID is essentially where you have 2 hard drives working as one which gives a speed boost - with the added risk that if one drive fails you lose all your data. There is also a second type of raid where you have 2 hard drives with exactly the same data on each - it's not faster but if one drive fails the other is a good backup.

Definately go for a 1tb drive then (the sammy i linked is one of the best out there at the moment).

You've selected a P55 board and a Bloomfield i7. Either you will have to go for an X58 board, or a Lynnfiled CPU (i7 860 or i5 750)

I'd missed that too - don't blame yourself, blame intel's stupid naming scheme.
