iBUYPOWER, a leading innovator in gaming PCs, is excited to announce the availability of Intel's Performance Tuning Protection Plan on all new iBUYPOWER gaming systems. The plan offers iBUYPOWER customers a one-time replacement for a CPU that is internally damaged by operating the processor outside of Intel's published specifications.

The protection plan will be available at no additional charge with the order of any Intel Z68-based iBUYPOWER system featuring an Intel Core K Series processor. This includes iBUYPOWER's popular Chimera, LAN Warrior II and Erebus systems. The company also offers free liquid CPU cooling on all new desktop systems.

"Our customers often push their systems to the limits in an effort to attain the best gaming experience possible," said Darren Su, Executive Vice President of iBUYPOWER. "Now they can feel secure knowing if their CPU is damaged during overclocking iBUYPOWER and Intel will work to quickly get them back up and running."

The recently launched Erebus GT is the perfect match for the Performance Tuning Protection Plan. Erebus GT provides would be overclockers with a proprietary Koolance powered liquid cooling solution that includes up to 3 large radiators, 8 cooling fans, and 13 mm of high flow tubing to circulate 4.5 gallons of coolant per minute. The smart case design creates a unidirectional air flow to help the cooling system reach a maximum rated heat dissipation of 2,500 W.

iBUYPOWER customers can order their Intel Performance Tuning Plan at while configuring their new system on iBUYPOWER.com and receive their plan certificate with the system. In order to redeem the one time replacement the customer must mail the damaged CPU and plan certificate to iBUYPOWER, who will order and ship back the replacement processor.
