    Install XP via the usual method.
    Install all your other drivers.
    Download and unzip this file, (f6flpy3286.zip), to somewhere on your hard drive.
    Still with Compatability mode in the BIOS.
    Now goto My Computer->Properties(System Properties)->Hardware->Device Manager->Expand IDE/ATAPI controllers;
    Right click on ICH9M-E/M SATA Controller.
    Select Update Driver
    Select No not at this time
    Select Install from a list or specific location
    Select Don't search I will choose the driver to install
    Choose the ICH9M controller
    Left click Have disk
    Browse to the location where you unzipped the drivers (above)
    Click on iaAHCI.inf
    Click Open
    Eh, Voila!
    When you reboot remember to set AHCI not Compatability in BIOS!
    You will have to reboot twice after XP prompts about new hardware.
    It's Done. :p
