Intel along with XtremeSystems ran a phase-change cooling demo of a ridiculously overclocked 45nm Yorkfield (quad-core Penryn) running at around 5.5GHz and managed to break not one, not two but 10 World Records. Read bellow for more info :)

i dont think many people can cool thier PC to 160 below 0 - i find these results pointless. i dont think there is any point in doing this. the everyday user wants a fast PC why dont they do that.

its like advertising a new car that can go 10000mph - well thats all good and fancy if your speed limit isnt 70mph!!!

It's a world record, as there are world records for everything. Nobody said anything about every day use.

That would be awesome to break 10 records in a single day. Thumbs up to the guy that did it.

Who cares if it fried after the test(Not saying that it did).

Where are the numbers? Intel's been known to screw with test results before.

This time it was in public so i doubt they could manufacture the numbers without people knowing about it.
