    A SSD with 1 yottabyte storage and 1TB/s read/write?
A VGA that can play any game at 200FPS always?
A CPU that can uhm run superpi in 1ys?
    Many others...

I'm inclined to either SSD or a GPU

A magical notebook don't count, has to be a single component

    Which one would you choose?

This could be GeneraNonsense, but it has Hardware meaning

I think I would go with some kind of cooling solution that could cool any and all of your components to -20 below ambient, and is totally silenced.

    Thats a real good one.

This is more of a combo, but I would like a Monitor and PC in one (do they have this?)

    You joking, right?
    all in one pc
Or, for you Apple fanatics. iMac

I would like a nanobot that is autonomous & self-replicating and could repair or build any device I dream of.

An optical-based system-on-a-chip. Small enough to fit in your pocket, powerful enough to replace 10 super computers, and energy efficient enough to be ran on a watch battery for over a year.

I think what I'd want most is a new cooling technology that would take all the heat produced by computer parts and instead of releasing it into the room did something useful with it instead. Don't know what though. Instant coffee perhaps?

That would be totally awesome. Specially if it adjusts to different screen ratios. Have a vertical res when reading a review, having ultra widescreen for movies, 4:3 for tellies.. the end of those black bars! :toast:

A magical unlimited storage drive would be awesome. And a cooling solution that would turn my case into a beer fridge and serve it to me on command.
