I'd love to build a new computer with 5k but it would probably go to cleaning up the farm or fixing the tractor.

Not really, i think it's pretty much telling the guy there is other things to do with 5k and you don't need 5k to build a new system..

In fact it's nice to see most would actually do other things as well as and not just burn it all on one thing to the point of pointlessness.

    hmmmm

Id buy a new onkyo speaker set. for about $400. give my old Logitech Z5500's to my dad
either keep or sell off my 6970s for probably about $300 a peice so thats $600 back in my pocket.
get a bigger 27" catleap monitor for about $270, buy a VESA stand for it which will cost about $100 or more, buy some Nvidia 680's for SLi for about $625 each.... and get a decent water cooling system going.

Id probably install a wall mounted aircon unit instead of the standard portable ones so i dont have to worry about noise.

Id give my dad some of the cash to pay off some bills then whatevers left gets put into my account for a rainy day or towards a better PC chair cuz this one is uncomfy!!

(I think that leaves me with around $3000 spare)

5,000 USD? That's four ski vacations. I'd have a really busy winter, then :)

But to be on topic: Three 2560x1600 monitors would probably be the first on the shopping list.

yeah in Islam interest is haram, but in here syariah banks (islamic banks) grow fast. their system is different from conventional banks so if we have account there we dont get interest but it based from sharing system :toast: and coz its not based from interest so it said thats halal
