im getting a second evga gtx 285

    i just ordered a second video card from ebay and its a evga gtx 285 with core speed of 648 mhz the old card i have is 675 mhz. will they run in sli ok? can i use evga precision to bring the new card up to the old cards speed?

    They'll run in SLI just fine. You could probably bring the card up to 675 because it is a pretty small OC, but you won't know until you get it.

    you should be just fine i run 2 280 gtx's in sli one is bone stock and the other is the oc version. i use msi afterburner for oc'ing, will set both cards the same. i dont see any harm in diff clock speeds, the faster one will prolly be downclocked to match the slower one.

    i got my card today and got it in and running fine. now which card would be best for physx the first card or the second card?
