For all Vista users Pick up any small images you can find and keep them in a folder.
Then start the Photo gallery, and start a slideshow. You'll notice that it goes fullscreen and a flicker with it. You'll see that the small images have been stretched up and look exactly the same No Visual decrease in the quality of the image. Give me your feedback on how many got good quality and bad quality. It is clear that Vista renders everything in 3D on the desktop, and the images are scaled by DirectX. A very good feature imo. Try it out
