help

I have a good deal on these and the transcend storejet where i live. I looked around and found out the storejet does about 20MB/s transfers. I want to know how much of a transfer rate to expect from the imation as I have tried for hours and hours with no luck about the transfer rates on the imation.

Any information will be useful. Thankyou :)

I would expect around 20-25Mbps read/write with the performance hit it takes with it being a 5400rpm drive. If you need performance with an external enclosure go with eSATA. With USB your are going to get around 35Mbps max. Really though, it's a pretty good deal for a 320gb 2.5" drive and an enclosure.
