What board from the following options do you guys think is best:

http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Intel_Platform_Products/
or
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z97 Extreme9/
and
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z97 OC Formula/

thanks

P.S. What mem would you pair up im looking at 8MB went i went higher on current build i got no improvement and i dont do video editing just first person shooter. I need the MOBO to have space as i plan to go 2 GPU in the end once prices fall for the second(need one where there a couple inch clearance otherwise they help to cook on another and look to get 290x.

Skip the Asrock Z97 extreme9 unless you want to run more than 2 video cards.

The Asrock Z97 OC is a very nice board but only if you intend to do some extreme overclocking on your CPU. But the overall design and performance of the board is top notch from what ive read.

Personally I would get the Asus VII Maximus Z97 board because I prefer Asus and the color scheme/Feature set that comes with them. But between the two asrock OC and the Asus VII I would go for the Asrock mostly because it gives you more slots and its a better value.

In short, get the Asrock Z97 OC board of your choices.

Why are you only looking at Asus and AsRock? There are other good motherboard manufactures such as Gigabyte and MSI. MSI Gaming line is excellent.

For the moment i plan to get a since 290x but when prices drop i plan to get at least another the problem is clerance. I got 285 sli now and one has a metal backplace so they help to cook one another and i have garbage case and cooling didnt want to waste money on this setup want to start from scratch, the problem again will be clerance as 2 boards is 4 spots as u know and i need a MOBO that will at least to x16 3.0 at least on 2 slots.
How about the asus pro or delux (bear w out all the crap) or asrock extreme 9?
No into a huge amt of OC just air maybe 10% at most

thanks

Not really, a lot claim some ultra speed improvements but in reality the differences are nill in most cases since nothing really makes so much demand for internet that your seeing anything.
