installed 0.26 and the temp on my 7900GTO dropped about 10 deg C (32 idle), which was too low-- 0.25 b15 and Rivatuner both showed identical, higher temps. No problem with 7600GT, though.

7900GTO is the best performance/price nVidia card out there. Basically it is a 7900GTX but costs a lot less. Not widely available.

I have a similar temperature reading problem with 7900GTO:

Usually the temps read just fine (although I haven't compared the reading to other programs) but sometimes it shows just "-64". Also the FanSpeed reading is "0%" which is not correct.

I don't have the fan speed reading with either 0.26 or 0.25's. Try comparing the temp reading between 0.26 and 0.25 and you will see a big difference.

I have the same problem with 0.26 on my ASUS EN7600GT. The GPU temperature from SmartDoctor (ASUS' tool) and the temperature in the NVIDIA tab in display properties match. However in ATITool 0.26 it reports the GPU temperature to be about 10-11 degrees cooler than the other two programs. The enviroment temperature that ATITool reports matches what SmartDoctor calls the RAM temperature. Maybe that is correct and the program is just labeling the same thing differently. But I don't think the GPU temp is correct.
