No on the memory unless the FSB is overclocked and only then with the right high performance memory, my memory does 6-6-6-18 at 1700mhz (with the right voltage and active cooling), now if anyone tells you that 1200mhz at 5-5-5-15 is anywhere near as quick as that is simply wrong. DDR3 is a waste for anyone at the moment (IMO) that does not overclock and to those that do, they will have to spend even more on high grade DDR3. So with my cpu, 1700mhz would give me 3.825mhz 24/7 speed, if a potential DDR3 owner cannot get near those 24/7 speeds then I wouldnt bother.....hope that makes sense.
