    Wow, now I'm torn... between a 3770K and this!

    $330 for the i7-3770K
    $190 for the i5-3570K

    Difference 6MB vs. 8MB Cache, no hyperthreading on the i5, and the i5 is slightly slower. Decisions! For $190, I would be a lot more comfortable de-lidding the thing.

    The additional cache is nice but unless you do video/3D or host a bunch of VMs or something do you really need HT?

    A $110 difference is a no-brainer for me. Also, do the latest batches still benefit as much from delid?
