Pickup only.. Wow.
Edited: my mistake! That 3 looked a lot like a 2 when I had just woken up. :laugh"
You're confusing this with the 920.
The i7 920 is still 199.99$
except for the clock speed, any difference compared to the 920?
Damn, they cost that in UK £ over here
I'm not going to give in and buy one, despite the low price. I did this with the 920's. After going through nearly a dozen, I'm back to the early batch chips that I started with. I'm going to see how these chips are clocking before I take a chance and regret it, especially if they are basically re-badged late batch 920's.
Right you are! Edited my post. I could have sworn that was a 2.
I was pretty shocked when I saw this.. It dropped $70 in a week. I think newegg is still $295
It didn't "drop 70$ in a week"... Microcenter has always kept intel processors at a very low price... ex: i7 920 at 200, 230 when it was new
Please make sure you know your facts before you post. I do believe that the 930 was listed at Microcenter for $289-$299 last week.
Well it is 229
What I meant is that the same thing happened for the i7 920... The first week had a higher price tag for the people who wanted the "new" processor fast... but the 230$ price tag was very much expected, exactly how the i7 920 was priced after the 1st week if I'm not mistaken
Newegg however, has the "normal" price for the i7's for example... the i7 920 has been 280-300$ since like always Microcenter is known for the low prices they set for these processors (after the first week)
there's a thread for this >.>
