Hey, I was just looking for some help with getting internet to my PS3 or mobile.

Basically my computer is connected to a LAN port of my uni's network this supplies my computer with a local IP in the 10.128.32.* range and supplies it with internet. I cannot connect anything but my computer to this port as it's mac address locked.

I want to share this LAN using my computers wireless card and ICS however the ps3 doesn't support adhoc networking, so I cannot simply do it like that (which would be easy!).

So I have an old ADSL router that I connect my computer to wirelessly which my PS3 can also connect to.

So it looks something like this:
Internet via LAN=> ICS PC => Wireless Router => PS3/Mobile

I put the router into bridged mode (switching off the ADSL part), let the router do DHCP to assign my pc with 192.168.0.2, PS3 with 192.168.0.3 and itself with 192.168.0.1. However the PS3 and any mobiles connected fail to use my computer for internet and therefore get none.

I have also let ICS assign my computer with 192.168.0.1 on the wireless and shunted the router to 192.168.0.100, however if I set the router to be the DHCP server the clients get 192.168.0.101...102...etc and if I set it to relay DHCP I have to set it to something and 192.168.0.1 (my pc) doesn't seem to work!

I have also tried setting the wireless IPs to 10.128.32.240 to get them in the same subnet as the wired LANbut that doesnt seem to work either.

Any ideas on the config?

To update I partially solved it, 192.168.0.100 for router, DHCP assigns 192.168.0.50..., but just ignore it all and set in ps3 settings the ip to 192.168.0.2 and router to 192.168.0.1 my PCs IP.

You could turn off DHCP on your router and assign static IPs if DHCP isn't working well.
You could also slap a second NIC into your rig and use that instead of the wireless when connecting to the router.

The trouble if I turn DHCP off in the router is it asks for a relay address, which as none exists means those users get even less access.
A second NIC and a normal non ADSL router would be best as you say.
