iPhone iDeviceRestore

I made the mistake of upgrading my iPhone and iPod OS to the latest version! They both performs like crap now. Unfortunately, Apple is no longer signing older versions of iOS. That's where iDeviceRestore comes in. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and I am running into erros during the build portion. The compiling guide that I found online was based on 12.04. Could that be the reason for the errors?

I'm not sure if this thread is in the correct category. Any help is greatly appreciated

If anyone else is in the same predicament that I was in, I was able to get it to compile and install. It was failing because libplist didn't meet the requirements. So, all I had to was download 1.12 and it's dependencies and it was off to the races! Now I can downgrade iOS (hopefully)

iOS 9 is a beta OS, though it's not advertised as well as it should be. Glad you were able to fix it on your own since a third of my calls seem like iOS issues.
