How accurate is Hard Drive Sentinel?
I am having issues with applications, everything is crashing and not opening up, so i install hard drive Sentinel and it says there's 18 days left . Is this real data because i never heard of this program before, but something is going on because all my apps, gog galaxy, steam, action recorder all are having issues opening up and I'm getting application errors. I didn't even think hard drives die out that fast, I'm thinking they could last for at least 10 years. The one that has 18 days left and in bad health i just bought that i believe 2 years ago.

That HDD was powered on for 1336 days, so more than 3 years of actively working.

HDD Sentinel reads SMART data that the HDD provides, so it's accurate in reading bad sector info. The estimated remaining lifespan is just that, a prediction. It could die tomorrow or work for months. Backup your data and replace the drives.

Look at the hard drive that reads 3508 days, i had that way longer and its still 100% . What hard drives should i buy to allow them to last longer?

Even the best drives can break sooner rather than later.

When did you buy it? Assuming I've found the right model, it should have a 5-year warranty.
Well 2 hard drives from what I can see need to be replaced. They came with the computer I believe. It's all good. I have 5 working hard drives, and I have a second computer with I just checked 4 working perfect hard drives. So I'll just use what I can until in a few months I'll buy some brand new ones if I have too. Well gotta resinstall windows again lol.

I've had HD Sentinel spot multiple drives failing before Windows does. Found them due to troubleshooting various "erratic" issues, and fixed the issue by replacing the drive. I can't say the "expected lifetime" is accurate, because I've never tried to make one last that showed dying. I would recommend removing anything critical from those dying drives immediately tho.
