I remember a good while ago many people were talking about image quality produced by various GPUs. At the time, ATi had beat Nvidia in image quality with cards such as the x850XT, x1950XTX and such. Then the Nvidia 8800 series came out and most people seemed to agree that they had better image quality than the ATi cards I mentioned. Since then, I haven't really heard all too much about raw image quality put out by graphics cards...
