Is it safe to stuff all the extra cables above the PSU?

Theres a lot of unused cables on my PC P&C PSU and I just crambed them all above the PSU. Theres like a 1cm gap between the PSU and the lower tower of the Antec Mini.

I use that space to stuff most of the extra cables there. Is that safe? Or would they heat up?

I don't see a problem with it. But I'd recommend throwing them behind the motherboard tray and the side of your case.

They shouldn't heat up but if they are sitting on top of the fan(ie your PSU is on the bottom) and your psu cant vent out that hot air.. then it might heat up and cause problems...

lol, i think i'll just stuff most of them on the side of the case. But yeah, I just touched the PSU and they weren't really hot at all.

I stuff all mine under my CD drive.:)

Shouldn't be a problem putting them on or above the PSU. As long as there not on the PSU fan blocking airflow.;)

I have a standard ATX case. I like to put my optical drives at the bottom shelves so I can stuff any extra wires on top of the drives.
