I am now into delimna about buying a new mobo.... I wanted to run trifire.... but X79 is now dying....

the thing is, looking at Z87, it has more features than x79.. we all know that....

as I stated earlier, I wanted to run trifire.... is it still worth it getting x79 mobos just to utilize the PCI lanes?

Is the Z77 / Z87 with PLX chips really gives a big negative impact?

I cannot seem to find a benchmark about running 3 or 4 gpu's compared with X79 running 3 or 4 GPU's...

If there is, would be please post here....

Thank you very much...
