is it still under warranty ? i wouldnt say "dont get aniother hiper" because one dies on u if there willing to replace it for free then see how you go. ive had asus mobo and xfx grfx card die on me but doesnt mean i wouldnt get them again (heck my p5b is 12 months old now lol ), only if i had several failures would i think... hmmm ok im not going that brand again, hiper is a decent make and if they are willing to replace it then see what happens if not, go for pcp or corsair cant go wrong either way

Now I know everyone hates the "I-told-you-so" bit, but do you remember a while ago after it died on you the first time? I think I was one of the people to first suggest a different PSU.

Take a peak at the StealthXstream if you need to save a couple bucks.

The Hiper 580w are crap. But my 880w is a different story. It stays cool and gives me enough juice lol

I won't buy Hiper again, and I recommend that no one else does. They use a crappy OEM for this PSU units, and the amount of damage they've done is nothing short of criminal.

I've had 2 Hiper units and I've actually binned both because I'd rather not take the chance. The first one was ok, but delivered less than the rated 480W (just under 400W by my calculations), and my old 580W...well that was pathetic, even with my current rig it wouldn't OC the chip higher than 3.3Ghz stably until I shoved this Tagan BZ-600 into my rig and poof, 3.6Ghz and counting.

Sorry, but Hiper are a keep away brand.
