Is the Sapphire 4890 Vaporx for sale yet. Where?

Just read a review at overclockers. 1050mhz core, over 1200mhz memory.
Ewiz nor newegg has it yet.

it usually takes a while from announcement to sale, so i bet it will still be another month at least.

I've been wondering the same thing myself. I found this over at Hexus.net "Sapphire is planning on officially launching the Radeon HD 4890 Atomic 1,024MB card next week."
    http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=18244&page=2
This was posted on April 29th so it should be launched this week. Dunno how reliable hexus is though. I just found out about them because I've been trying to find this card. If you find one for sale somewhere tell me!!! I'll let you know if I find one.
    Cool Mike says thanks.

I'm waiting for the release of this card myself. I will be checking Newegg a few times a day.

    Still nothing on NewEgg..

I'd say by the end of next week it should be on there.

Nice. I want one as well. Maybe two but only have 1920x1200 atm. Pretty underwhelmed with my 'regular' Sapphire 4870 1GB that I've had for about a month. Can't soft mod and doesn't overclock for crap. Ah well, was only $189 and came with Clear Sky.

I'm just not sure what exactly you would do with two of these besides benchmark and put it in your signature? :D

It's calling out for me, I'm sooo gonna buy two of these, run them in crossfire, finally max out crysis and have a heart attack from the Insanely graphics exposure :D

1 isn't enough to max out some games at 1920x1200.

It looks just like the Toxic 4870 rather than the Vapor-X 4850/4870 cards. Still a nice card though.

What it. Not the case, just adds cost. Waste of money. Hope a version is sold without.

For those who cant wait for the vapor x card, Power color is bringing out a 1Ghz card also with custom cooling + higher quality onboard components.
    Cool Mike says thanks.

Anymore details on the powercolor? I am a little reserved on the power color brand as I purchased a 4870 1G that had the flicker problem. Had to return it back to newegg and also lost 15% due to their return policy, It was clearly a powercolor issue. I havent wrote them off completely though.
