It looks ok if you want raw processing power, but if you want to play some games, its not enough.

Totals: £384.04

Almost the same price but I am sure my PSU is better, and the processor is slightly better, and my Ram far outclasses that build's.

Verdict: Build your own, and spend a bit more for some quality components. Also, consider getting 2500K and do a bit of overclock to stretch your dollar.

Ah ebuyer, great shop! (Thanks for your time on that!)
Also, since that would not ship with an OS, could I just plug in my memory stick that has a copy of seven on it and it would boot from that?

Edit: the last two links on your list are identical :D

Yeah, but I am not sure about the fine details, you might have to set it to boot from USB or something like that.

Last link is not important, there are plenty of cheap ODDs out there :p Thanks for the spot though, but I am not going to be bothered to fix that.

Aye there's a cheap LG one on ebuyer for that price, i've looked at it before.
Maybe a noob question, or maybe i'm completely blind, but there isn't any graphics stuff in there?

No there are no graphics stuff there, I thought this is going to be a work PC. Fear not, Sandy Bridge graphics is actually decent for its purpose (for working and the occasional Farmville).

If you want a graphics card, prices is going to be inflated by quite a bit, its almost guaranteed you will need a more powerful PSU and then a beefy graphics card (depending on how much eyecandy you want, up to about £200)

Well, I ain't that bothered about super powerful graphics. But I wouldn't want something that forces me to play everything on LOW graphic settings.. Any recommendations?

6870, 6850, GTX560 (Ti?) all very good for money, and you might get away without upgrading PSU if there is enough connectors.

RAM and processor don't need direct power, right? They get it from mobo don't they.

A good selection from Fourstaff, if you want a reasonably decent graphics card but the budget won't go to £100 plus, try this for £78, it's re-furbished but comes with a 1 year warranty....

As mentioned, the 430W Corsair may be a bit borderline for the card and components, you could go for this 550W as a slightly cheaper alternative, whilst not of the quality of the Corsair, it is 80+ certified and has very good reviews.....

Thanks tatty, thats a nice find!
The only thing that's a bit annoying is the HDD and the price of that, is it really worth £40?

Is it worth almost 50 quid you mean? Well it is a very good (and fast) HDD that Fourstaff has recommended, if you want 1TB there is not a lot of saving you could make to be honest, if you were happy with 750gig then you could save a few quid by going for something like this at £35, but of course you lose a little over the 1TB, at the end of the day you get what you pay for, the secret is to work out the compromises you are happy to make, if you use big apps and move around a lot of data then the HDD is not something you want to compromise with, if you just game and do some light Windows/office work then it is a little less important...........
