And what settings do you have it on?
1280x1024 all medium settings, with AAX2 or something?

If you are talking about fear 2, forget that , i can't run it. If you are talking about the rest, well i can run them just fine when i have USB 2.0 enable, or if i have them install in my internal hd. I can run the game at 1280x1024 , medium to max settings , NO AA, AFX4 and still get up to a solid 40fps. Anywhere between 20-45fps. I once got up to 60 at medium to low settings at the same resolution.

must be because he played crysis with better settings on a P3 and 2400PRO than i did with an A64 3400+ and 7800GS

Yes, an old 7800GT PCI-E with 256MB is better than a 9500GT PCI with 1GB will ever be.

you cant run fear 2 and struggle with left for dead but can run jericho and crysis fine

LOL that my fellow user is a load of bs, unless fear 2 was broken and your pc didnt like steam you should be able to run them if you can run other similar games

nobody is trashing you personally we are saying that it isnt possible to run games at what you claim on your pentium 3, now your amd system isnt much but certainly better than a pentium 3

Well if you don't or if everyone does not want me to post anything about pci cards anymore, cool i stop posting about them. Now about the card, no for 2 reasons. I don't take things from people online, and second i don't use video cards with power connectors.

If you are talking about with my old system the Pentium III. I ran Fear 2 before on it, but it ran like crap at high settings, or any settings for that matter. But i never said i could run fear 2 at playable settings. Left for dead on my P3 was worst then a slideslow, the game didn't move :laugh:

As for Jericho, at 1280x1024 high settings it plays ok with my 8400gs at a max of 18fps, between 12-18 to be exact. And crysis, well not really playable at all on my p3, 15-25fps at 1280x1024 all low to medium settings tho. Even tho thats playable to some degree, the game looks ugly.

Yes Fear, all of them but fear 2 on my P3 i ran them just fine. I don't know why you or someone else was having trouble playing them. I would run them at 1280x1024 or 1024x768 medium to max settings with AAX2 and still get anywhere between 20-45fps. It will speed up to 45 only in certain areas, but other times it never dip below 20.

I can do some benchmarks with my new rig and see how they run sometime tomorrow if you want.
